Water quality in figures
Ridna Voda is drinking water produced by Arctica in Kyiv, purified by reverse osmosis and disinfected with ultraviolet. Under test report No. E076/25 from the accredited Ekomedservice Ecological Laboratory (DSTU EN ISO/IEC 17025, NAAU certificate No. 20678), on a sample taken on 2 September 2025, the water complies with the requirements of DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10 — the Ukrainian drinking-water standard — for physico-chemical parameters. Odour at 20 °C and 60 °C and taste: zero points against a limit of 2. Nitrates below 0.44 mg/L against a limit of 50. Lead below 0.005 against 0.01. Total hardness 0.18 mmol/L against a limit of 7.0, so kettles, coffee machines and coolers stay free of limescale. Dry residue 32 mg/L against a limit of 1000: this is soft water with a low salt content, not mineral water.

The limits in the middle column are those of the Ukrainian standard DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10. The testing was not carried out against Directive (EU) 2020/2184, so we make no claim about European requirements — the measured values are published so that you can compare them with whichever standard you work to.
What these figures actually mean
Three things we state plainly, because they are exactly what a buyer should understand.
Why the mineralisation is low
A reverse-osmosis membrane retains dissolved salts along with the contaminants — which is why the dry residue of our water is 32 mg/L against a limit of 1000. It does not reach the recommended guideline band of Appendix 4 (200–500 mg/L) — nor do hardness, alkalinity and calcium reach theirs — and we do not hide that: Ridna Voda is soft drinking water with a low salt content, not mineral water. The practical consequence is a neutral taste and almost no limescale.
Why there is a dash next to calcium
In the scan of the report, the «compliance» column for calcium holds a dash. That does not mean «fails»: in the column of limits the laboratory worked to there is no hygiene limit for calcium at all — only the recommended guideline of Appendix 4. The parameter was measured (7.2 mg/L), but there is no mandatory figure to compare it with, so the laboratory left the cell empty.
What this report does not cover
This is a physico-chemical test report: 24 parameters. Microbiological, parasitological and radiological parameters are separate types of study and are not part of this document. So we write exactly what the laboratory wrote: compliance with DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10 for physico-chemical parameters. New reports will appear on this page.

The short answers
Does Ridna Voda water comply with the Ukrainian drinking-water standard?
Yes. Under test report No. E076/25 from the accredited Ekomedservice laboratory, the Ridna Voda sample complies with the requirements of DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10, the Ukrainian hygiene standard for drinking water, for the physico-chemical parameters tested. Not one of the 24 parameters exceeds a hygiene limit of the standard. On the recommended guideline values of Appendix 4 — dry residue, hardness, alkalinity and calcium — the water sits below the suggested band, and we explain why on this page instead of hiding it.
Does this report cover the Arctica and Ridna Kraplyna lines?
No. Report No. E076/25 was issued for Ridna Voda water only. Reports for Arctica and Ridna Kraplyna will be published on this very page as soon as the laboratory issues them — we never carry the figures of one line over to another.
Which standard was the water tested against — Ukrainian or European?
The Ukrainian one: DSanPiN 2.2.4-171-10. The testing was not carried out against Directive (EU) 2020/2184, so we make no claim about European requirements. What the report does show is the measured value of every parameter next to its Ukrainian limit, so you can compare the figures with any standard you use.
How mineralised is Ridna Voda water?
Low: dry residue 32 mg/L against a limit of 1000, total hardness 0.18 mmol/L against a limit of 7.0. This is soft water with a low salt content, not mineral water. That is how reverse osmosis works — the membrane retains dissolved salts along with the contaminants.
Will this water leave limescale in a kettle or a coffee machine?
Practically none. Limescale is formed by hardness salts, and the total hardness of Ridna Voda is 0.18 mmol/L — almost 40 times below the hygiene limit. That is exactly why the water is often bought for coffee machines, kettles and coolers.
